Arrival in Mestia – a highland townlet located at an elevation of 1,500 metres. Explore local highlights. The area is dominated by stone defensive towers which are typical only for Svaneti region. Prepare for trekking. Overnight at the hotel.
Early breakfast. Departure to the village Zhabeshi (1680 m. above sea level). Start of the trekking route. Itinerary: Village Zhabeshi – Village Adishi. Average duration: 6-7 hours. The highest point during the itinerary – 2424 m. above sea level. Camping at the elevation of 2200 m. close to village Adishi. Overnight in tents.
Start of the trekking route to village Iphari. Duration of the route: 5-9 hours. The highest point during the itinerary – 2727 m. Camping at the elevation of 1900 m. nearby village Iphari. Overnight in tents.
Start of the trekking route to the direction of Ushguli. Duration of the route: 4-5 hours. Ushguli is the highest inhabited village in Europe located at the elevation of 2200 m. and distinguished with a rich history, picturesque nature, and unique medieval architecture. Transfer back to Mestia. Departure.
