Day one
Welcome to Georgia Arrival to Kutaisi International Airport. Departure to Tbilisi. Upon arrival to Tbilisi, Sightseeing tour around Tbilisi: Narikala Fortress and Metekhi church with panoramic views on Old Tbilisi, ancient churches of Anchiskhati and Sioni, Sulphur Baths district “Abanotubani”, famous Chardin street name after a French Missioner, Piece Bridge, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Freedom Square, Pantheon on Mtatsminda Mount and many others places of interest... Accommodation in Tbilisi hotel. Welcome dinner in Tbilisi restaurant. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day two
Kazbegi, Stepantsminda Departure to Kazbegi. The route to Kazbegi leads to Mtskheta-Mtianeti region and lays through Georgian military way, which connected the country with the Northern Caucasus. En route to Kazbegi, we are going to visit: Ananuri Architectural Complex and Jinvali Water Reservoir is easy via Georgian Military Highway– only an hour non-stop drive from Tbilisi is needed to dive into harmony of this beauty. Arrival to Kazbegi, Stepantsminda. The sightseeing tour includes the visits to: Gergeti Trinity Church is located near settlement Stapantsminda, on the Gergeti Mountain (2200m a.s.l.), one of the highest and most beautiful peaks of Caucasus and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. You can enjoy the breathtaking views to the mount Kazbebi. Mount Kazbegi It is the third highest mountain in Georgia and the seventh highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains. The summit lies directly to the west of the town of Stepantsminda and is the most prominent geographic feature of the area. Mt. Kazbek is the highest peak of Eastern Georgia. After sightseeing tour around the place we would like to invite you to traditional local family for dinner. Back to Tbilisi in the evening.
Day three
Mtskheta & Prometheus Cave On the way to Kutaisi, we will visit: Mtskheta - ancient town of extraordinary importance to the Georgian nation. It was the capital of the eastern Georgian kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. Mtskheta was the site of Georgia's adoption of Christianity in 334 and remains the headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Visiting Jvari (VI c.) and Svetitskhoveli (XI c.) monasteries of 11-th century. Prometheus cave in Tskaltubo - characterized by the variety of underground rivers and beautiful landscapes. Boating tour inside the cave (in case of possibility). Accommodation in Kutaisi hotel. Farewell dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day four
Departure Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Kutaisi International Airport. See you soon in Georgia!
