Impossibly beautiful, wild and mysterious, one of the most ancient historical provinces Of Georgia, is located on the southern slopes of the Caucasus mountain range. 
Uniquely picturesque villages and snow-covered peaks rising over 4000m above flower-strewn alpine meadows offer marvelous walking opportunities. Svaneti’s emblem is the defensive stone tower, designed to house villagers at times of invasion and strife. Around 175 towers, most originally built between the 9th and 13th centuries, survive in Svaneti today.

Itinerary: Tbilisi - Kutaisi - Mestia - Ushguli - Uplistsikhe - Mtskheta - Tbilisi

Day one

Welcome to Tbilisi 
Arrival to Tbilisi International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. 
Sightseeing tour around Tbilisi, which includes visits to (in the day or evening hours, depends upon the flight details): Narikala Fortress and Metekhi church with panoramic views on Old Tbilisi, ancient churches of Anchiskhati and Sioni, Sulphur Baths district “Abanotubani”, famous Chardin street name after a French Missioner, Piece Bridge, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Freedom Square, Pantheon on Mtatsminda Mount and many others places of interest... 
Welcome dinner in a traditional Georgian restaurant, where you will enjoy delicious Georgian cuisine.

Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi hotel.  

Day two 

Imereti & Svaneti 
After early breakfast departure from the capital to Svaneni, Mestia village. 
On the way, we are goin to stop in Imreti region - Kutaisi city. Lunch and short sightseeing tour, which inludes visits to: 
Sataplia Karst Cave - is famous for fine speleothems and the nearby dinosaur footprints. Gelaty monastery is of special importance for its architecture, its mosaics, its wall paintings, and its enamel and metal work. It was not simply a monastery: it was a centre of science and education, and the Academy established there was one of the most important centres of culture in ancient Georgia. Motsameta church - this little monastery has very beautiful views over the gorge of the river Tskhastsitela. To make your dearest wish come true, simply crawl three times under the tomb of two martyrs. Locals say that it never fails!
Continue way to Mestia.
Accommodation at the hotel upon arrival and dinner. Free time. 
Overnight in Mestia hotel / guesthouse. 

Day three

Mestia & Ushguli
Svaneti - a historic province of Georgia located in the northwestern part of the country, is the highest inhabited area in the Caucasus famous with its unique stone architectural treasures and pictoresque landscapes. Sightseeing tour around Mestia includes visits to: 
Historical Mestia Towers - Medieval stone towers with unique architecture are still inhabited by local residents. Historically the existence of the towers is explained by the necessity of protection against enemies and natural disasters. Therefore each house had a similar tower which served for the families as a refuge in case of war. 
Mikheil Khergiani State Museum - The museum houses materials belonging to famous Georgian alpinist Mikheil Khergiani (1932-1969): icons, furniture, vessels, agrarian work implements, clothes, alpinist’s implements, paintings and different publications about alpinism.
Departure to Ushguli: he highest inhabited village in Europe is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its Medieval Stone Towers. 
We would like to invite you for the dinner in traditional local atmosphere - georgian family. 
Back to Mestia for overnight.

Day four

Uplistsikhe & Mtskheta
After breakfast departure from Mestia back to Tbilisi.
On the way back, visiting: Uplistsikhe cave town - it is identified by archaeologists as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. Strategically located in the heartland of ancient kingdom of Kartli, it emerged as a major political and religious center of the country. The town’s age and importance led medieval Georgian written tradition to ascribe its foundation to the mythical Uplos, son of Mtskhetos, and grandson of Kartlos.   
And after Uplistsikhe: Mtskheta. Lunch in one of the traditional local restaurant and sightseeing tour around the former capital of Georgia.
Jvari Monastery – VI c. Orthodox Monastery located on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, with panoramic view on Mtskheta. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – the second largest church building known as the burial site of Christ’s mantle. The current cathedral was built in the XI century, though the site itself is even older dating back to the early IV century and is surrounded by a number of legends associated primarily with the early Christian traditions. 
Arrival to Tbilisi for dinner and overnight. 

Day five

Departure. 
Breakfast at the hotel, chek out and transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
